Family Photos

We REALLY wanted to get some cute family photos done with Brayden being 6 months old and still cute and innocent (before he starts walking and terrorizing our home). With the help of my mom, who has an awesome eye for photography, we went up Little Cottonwood Canyon and got some photos done!

I used to hate family photos and cameras, and I honestly don't know why. I have my theories of course, such as that I never had anyone I loved as much as my little family that I wanted photos of with. Or that I just didn't care about capturing these memories of the times we have together, because as adults, things rarely change. Now, with little dude here I LOVE family photos and will go and pose for anyone who wants a photo of my family.

I am truly so lucky to have the great little family that I do. I know this all sounds like bragging, and trust me, it is and it isn't. As crazy as my husband drives me, I love the man to death. Bubba willingly gets up in the middle of the night to tend to Brayden when he knows I haven't slept because he gets to sleep easier. I mean, how awesome is that? He also willingly puts up with all my "crafty" ideas, good and bad. He's an awesome husband and an even better father and I am so blessed to have him in my life.

He also takes REALLY good self portraits of the two of us, which I have come to respect.

I am so blessed to have a happy, healthy little boy. Brayden is such a blessing to me and our family and teaches me new things every day. He teaches me about happiness, about excitement, about forgiveness, and the little man doesn't even realize it. He's also a wild man, and as much as I worry about him (and his future hyperactivity when he is fully mobile) I know that we are all going to have so many adventures together as a family.

I am so thankful that I am as blessed as I am to have the beautiful family that I do. Its a small family, and someday we do hope to grow, but until then we are completely content and happy with our blessings and  our ability to love each other like we get to.

Thanks for taking these photos mom, I know Brayden was a wiggle-butt and a pain to take photos of, but they turned out fantastic and I love them. Now, to get them printed and framed and placed in our home!
